Gerben Budding

Gerben Budding is a seasoned Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing software and systems for various applications including vision technology, deep learning, and quality control in agricultural contexts. Currently at SeQso since February 2025, Gerben is engaged in advanced machine development as part of the Demcon Group. In addition to roles at SeQso, Gerben has been involved with SIL Global since November 2016, providing mentorship and consultancy for ICT services in Africa, managing operations in the Eastern Congo Group, and teaching IT and language technology curricula. Gerben's prior experience includes significant positions at Wycliffe Bijbelvertalers Nederland, Fugro Intersite B.V., and Twine Automation, focusing on R&D and software solutions. Gerben holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Bachelor's in Information Technology, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence.
