Marcus Bittman is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software and data systems management. Currently serving as VP of Software and Data Systems at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since January 2021, Marcus previously held multiple senior leadership roles at Accuray from February 2008 to January 2021, including Vice President of Application Software Engineering and Senior Director of Software Engineering. At Accuray, Marcus was instrumental in the development and management of software for systems such as CyberKnife and TomoTherapy, driving the adoption of agile methodologies and leading complex initiatives. Prior experience includes various positions at NOMOS Radiation Oncology, where Marcus managed marketing efforts and played key roles in product development and engineering. Marcus holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from Allegheny College.
