Rucha Bedarkar

Rucha Bedarkar is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and energy efficiency, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Sila Nanotechnologies, Inc. since March 2022. Prior roles include positions at Mainspring Energy as a Staff Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer, and at Ballard Power Systems where notable contributions included the development of a low-cost hydrogen production fuel processor and innovative solutions to eliminate heat transfer instabilities. Additional experience includes working as an Energy Efficiency Analyst at ICF International and conducting research at the University of Maryland, where Rucha Bedarkar completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Academic foundations were established with a Bachelor's degree from Sardar Patel College of Engineering in Mumbai.
