Vincent Wu is a Senior R&D Scientist at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc., specializing in materials engineering and research of silicon anodes for rechargeable batteries since April 2024. Previously, Vincent served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Ph.D. Researcher at UC Santa Barbara from September 2019 to March 2024, focusing on novel cathode materials for sodium and lithium-ion batteries and utilizing advanced characterization techniques. Additional experience includes an internship as a Cell Materials Engineering Intern at Tesla and various roles in research and engineering at Lumentum, Berkeley Lab, Ubiquitous Energy, Inc., and the UC Berkeley Materials Science and Chemistry Department. Vincent earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in December 2023 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2018.
