Silanna Semiconductor
Bill Rader is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in design and management within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Design Engineering and Director of Design at Silanna Semiconductor since April 2019, Bill leads analog and power management design and development teams. Prior to this, Bill held the position of Principal Design Engineer/Manager in the Raleigh PMIC Design Group at Qualcomm from January 2012. Bill's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Power Technology at Semtech from 1998 to October 2011, where hands-on management of IC design, process development, and CAD was key. Bill also held multiple roles at Harris Corporation, including Senior Design Engineer, from 1995 to 1998. Bill holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics, from North Carolina State University, completed in 1996.
