Dani Golan is the founder and CEO of Silk, a company that provides composable data platforms for real-time analytics, data center automation, and data access. Prior to Silk, Dani was the CEO of Kaminario from April 2008 to December 2018. During their time at Kaminario, Dani grew the company from a startup to a leading provider of composable data platforms with a network of resellers and distributors globally. Prior to Kaminario, Dani was with EMC from January 2001 to December 2006, where they held various positions including New Ventures, Business Operation, Strategy and BD. Dani also served as President and General Manager of Performix from July 2006 to April 2008. Dani began their career as a fighter pilot in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from January 1990 to December 1996. Dani has a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Tel Aviv University.

Dani Golan has a background in electrical engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and also has an Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Dani Golan's educational career reflects a commitment to both theoretical and practical applications of business and engineering principles.
