Josef Brunner has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Josef started as a Senior Application Engineer at Wacker Siltronic in 1995 and progressed through various roles, including Group Manager Application Technology Asia. In 1999, they became the Head of the Application Department at Siltronic Singapore Pte Ltd. Josef moved to Siltronic GmbH in 2002, where they handled Market Mapping and Global Business Development. Eventually, they joined Siltronic AG in 2004, holding positions such as Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing and Director of Supplier Quality & Diversity. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in market research, strategic marketing, application support, and global business development.
Josef Brunner pursued their education in Physics, starting with a Diploma at the Technical University of Munich from 1987 to 1991. Josef then obtained a Diploma issued by the Technical University of Munich from Imperial College London in 1990-1991. Finally, they completed their education with a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics from the Walter Schottky Institute from 1991 to 1995.
