Rhys Jones is a highly experienced Principal Scientist with a strong background in analytical science and research. Currently serving at Simbec-Orion since April 2019, Rhys has held various roles including Analytical Team Lead and Senior Research Scientist. Prior to this, Rhys accumulated significant experience at Biotage AB in Sweden from March 2008 to April 2019, progressing from Associate Research Scientist to Senior Research Scientist. Earlier career stages include positions as a GC/MS Analyst and Oral Fluids Technician at Concateno TrichoTech, as well as a Laboratory Technician. Rhys also completed an internship at the Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory, gaining insights into numerous forensic disciplines. Rhys holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Forensic Science from the University of South Wales, earned between 2000 and 2004.
