Katie Hearn

Katie Hearn is a seasoned professional in advancement and communications, currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Advancement for Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University since October 2022. Previously, Katie held the position of Director of Communications, Brand, and Marketing at Little Kitchen Academy, and served as a Major Gifts Officer for Heart & Stroke from December 2015 to October 2020, where substantial fundraising achievements were realized including leading the Heart of Gold Gala. With extensive experience in donor relations, event management, and strategic communication, Katie has successfully managed diverse portfolios and contributed to significant revenue growth in various roles, including Development Advisor and Coordinator positions at Heart & Stroke.
