Sylvain Moreno

Sylvain Moreno is an accomplished academic and leader in the fields of neuroscience, technology, and innovation. Currently serving as the Special Advisor to the BC CAI Scientific Director and to the Vice-President Research and International at Simon Fraser University, Sylvain holds multiple roles, including CEO and Scientific Director at the BC Center for Agritech Innovation and Steering Committee Member at the SFU Institute for Neuroscience and Neurotechnology. As Chief Executive Officer and Scientific Director at Circle Innovation since 2018, Sylvain has also contributed significantly to various initiatives focused on neurodevelopmental disorders and aging technologies through leadership positions at organizations such as Kids Brain Health Network and AGE-WELL NCE Inc. Sylvain is an Associate Professor at the SFU School of Interactive Arts & Technology and a former Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. The academic background includes dual PhDs in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroscience from Université de Provence.
