Tianzheng Wang

Tianzheng Wang is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in computer science. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University since August 2018, Tianzheng previously held the role of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Concurrently, Tianzheng has worked as a Consultant and Research Engineer at Huawei Technologies since June 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2012 to June 2017, with internships at Microsoft Research and Hewlett Packard Labs in 2016 and 2015, respectively. Tianzheng's academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, completed in 2017 and 2014, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012. Early career experience also includes an internship at HSBC focused on equity derivatives trading platform development.
