Sheena Menezes

Sheena Menezes is a co-founder and CEO of Simple HealthKit Inc, with extensive experience in the biotech field. Previously, Sheena served as the Director of In Vitro Diagnostics and Sr. Principal Scientist at Scanadu, where major contributions included leading the design and product development of a successful urinalysis product that achieved 510k clearance, as well as managing cross-functional teams for quality control processes. Sheena has also held positions in assay development and academic research, including the discovery of a novel tRNA methylase during graduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, which resulted in a PhD in Biochemistry. Additionally, early career experience includes computational tool development for epidemiological analysis and roles in protein engineering and diagnostics. Educational background includes a PhD and MS from UC Santa Barbara, as well as an Honors B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas.
