Robert Tardella

Robert Tardella is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Partner and EVP at Simplicity Group since 2023, Robert previously held the position of Director of Corporate Development at Allstate from 2018 to 2023, where leadership of a team managed significant M&A opportunities with over 10 transactions valued at $8 billion. Robert's background includes roles as Director of Corporate Development at CNA Insurance (2013-2018), where responsibilities expanded to investor relations and capital management, and as an Associate in Investment Banking at Macquarie Group, executing over 10 transactions valued at more than $6 billion. Robert began a career in finance as an Analyst at Fox-Pitt Kelton, which was acquired by Macquarie Capital. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Finance from Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
