Simply Destinee is a youth-led dance and mental health nonprofit dedicated to inspiring Aurora’s young people and strengthening our community. Founded in memory of Destinee A. Oliva, we promote self-expression, self-love, and social-emotional learning, helping youth overcome everyday challenges and build resilience.

Through diverse dance styles—including salsa, bachata, hip hop, and more—our kids discover confidence, healing, and joy. For many, music saved our lives.

In 2025, we launched Locally G.R.O.W.N. (Getting Rid of Old Ways Now) to train teens and young adults in leadership, mental health first aid, and community action.

We believe all kids deserve to feel safe, healthy, and ready to learn. We’re Simply Destinee—and we’re building a brighter future for Aurora’s youth.
