Dennis Ryan

VP, Mission Effectiveness & External Affairs at Sinai Chicago

Dennis Ryan serves as the Holy Cross Hospital Catholic mission, community institution, governmental advocacy, and the Sinai Health System pastoral care and ethics development leader. Dennis is the Sinai Health System liaison with the Sisters of St. Casimir and the Archdiocese of Chicago. His responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with key community/advocacy groups and institutions to promote accessible health care for communities served and increasing support for Sinai Health System services. He is currently President of the Greater Southwest Development Corporation Board of Directors (recipient of the 2018 Citi Foundation Community Progress Makers Fund award) and the Executive Committee Chair of the Southwest Organizing Project (recipient of the MacArthur Foundation International Creative and Effective Institutions award).
