Sing for Hope
Monica Yunus is a Co-Executive Director and Co-Founder at Sing for Hope, utilizing the power of the arts to bring hope, healing, and connection to various communities worldwide. Monica is also a faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University and works as a freelance musician, educator, and producer. With an impressive background as a soprano, Monica has held principal artist roles at Opera Colorado, Opera Memphis, Zouk Mikael International Festival, and the Metropolitan Opera. Monica has also served as an Artist In Residence at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Florida State University. Monica holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in Voice and Opera from The Juilliard School.

Sing for Hope offer healing arts programmes through research-based creative performances, workshops, and curated cultural experiences that promote wellness, connection, and respite in hospitals, vaccination centers, and long-term care facilities. They provide programmes for refugee children and families.
