Maria Miyashiro

Maria Miyashiro currently serves as a sommelier at SingleThread Farm - Restaurant - Inn since November 2022 and has been a freelance writer for delish. since March 2020. Maria's previous experience as a sommelier includes positions at Little Saint Healdsburg from May 2022 to November 2022 and Be.Steak.A from February 2021 to May 2022. Prior to these roles, Maria worked as a server at Orchard City Kitchen from February 2017 to February 2021 and as a beertender at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. from October 2014 to December 2016. Maria began a career in hospitality at LEFT BANK BRASSERIE LIMITED, where involvement as key personnel of the host team lasted from September 2012 to July 2014. Educationally, Maria earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies from California State University, Chico, between 2014 and 2016, having also attended West Valley College from 2012 to 2014 and Fordham University from 2011 to 2012.
