Dr. Rolf Blessing, born 1952 in Fürth / Odenwald, Germany, residing in Trendelburg, is graduate physicist (Diplom-Physiker) and Managing Director of the „B.plus Beschichtungen Projekte Gutachten“ GBR, Bad Karlshafen, Germany; since 2011, he is a member of the Supervisory Board of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG. In the ordinary Annual General Meeting which took place on August 31, 2016, Dr. Rolf Blessing was reelected as member of the Supervisory Board of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG.

Since 2002, Dr. Blessing is Managing Director of „B.plus Beschichtungen Projekte Gutachten“ GBR, Bad Karlshafen, Germany. In 2004, he was the founding shareholder of BLUETEC GmbH & Co KG, Trendelburg, Germany, a company operating in the following segments: solar absorber coating and light reflector layers.

From 1986 until 2002, Dr. Blessing was Managing Director of Interpane Glas Industrie AG, Lauenförde, Germany in the segment development and consultation. He dealt amongst other topics with architectural glass coating technology, functional layers / switchable layers, coating plants, solar absorber layers and solar thermal energy.

From 1992 until 2002, he was member of the extended Management Board of Interpane Glas Industrie AG, Member of the Board of Directors of Interpane Coatings USA and Board Member of the Interpane/Sisecam Joint Venture Turkey.

In addition, Dr. Blessing was a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Fraunhofer Society ISE Freiburg from 1986 until 2002 and was partly its chairman, curator of IST Braunschweig, Germany and curator of FEP Dresden, Germany.

Its product portfolio comprises vacuum thin-film and plasma coating, wet-chemical cleaning and etching processes as well as thermal processing technology.
