Larry Weinstein

Cell Design Engineer at Sion Power Corporation

Larry Weinstein has extensive experience in the field of engineering and battery development. Larry began their career as a Graduate Assistant at the Rutgers Energy Storage Research Group in 2006. From 2008 to 2011, Larry worked as a Materials Engineer at Y-Carbon, Inc., where they developed high-performance porous carbon materials for various applications. Larry then joined FlexEl LLC in 2011 as a Research & Development Engineer, where they designed novel battery designs and selected cell components for custom batteries. Larry worked for Kelly OCG for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care from 2017 to 2019 as an Engineer. Currently, Larry is employed as a Cell Design Engineer at Sion Power Corporation.

Larry Weinstein completed their high school education at Upper Dublin High School. Afterwards, they attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science & Engineering at Rutgers University from 2006 to 2008.
