Prior to this, Viorel served as a professor at Colegiul Alexandru Odobescu from 1993 to 2000. Viorel's educational background includes a degree in informatics obtained from Universitatea din Pitești in 1998 and additional studies at the University of Craiova from 1988 to 1993.
