Denis Vandormael is a Senior Project Manager specializing in Micromanufacturing at Sirris since March 2009, where responsibilities include managing regional, national, and international projects focused on business development and technological transfer related to product and process miniaturization. Denis serves as a key contact for industrial stakeholders and academic partners, leveraging a strong experimental background in various fields such as optics, polymer processing, and micro-manufacturing, while also engaging in dissemination and communication activities. Prior to this role, Denis was a Project Manager at Centre Spatial de Liège from August 1999 to February 2009, managing R&D projects in micro-optics and microfabrication, and developed new test and manufacturing facilities. Denis began the career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Liège from September 1994 to July 1999, focusing on magneto-optical materials for a PhD in Science obtained from the same institution.
