Michael Senft

Michael Senft, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Cyber Research at SIXGEN, starting in January 2024. Prior experience includes a fellowship with Hiring Our Heroes in late 2023 and an extensive tenure at the Naval Postgraduate School from August 2019 to September 2023, where contributions included independent research in cyber deception, leadership of significant research projects, and teaching cybersecurity at the graduate level. Michael's career also features leadership roles at the National Security Agency as Deputy Director of Cybersecurity Operations and as a strategic human resource manager in the US Army, alongside technical positions in tactical communication systems. Michael holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences and various master's degrees specializing in Computer Science and Engineering Management.
