Marilynn Bonilla

Marilynn Bonilla is an accomplished account manager with a robust background in media and communications. Currently employed at Group SJR since November 2021, Marilynn has progressed from account executive to account manager. Prior to this, Marilynn held various roles at Weill Cornell Medicine from January 2018 to November 2021, gaining experience as a social media associate, media/social media specialist, and media assistant. An internship at Newsday Media Group in 2017 provided foundational skills in project ideation and visual storytelling focused on Long Island. Marilynn's leadership abilities were exemplified during tenure as executive editor at The Catalyst from September 2013 to May 2017, where responsibilities included staff management, article editing, budget management, and collaboration with advertisers. Marilynn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communications from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and a high school diploma in Communication and Media Studies from Queens Vocational and Technical High School.
