Sungwon Suh has held several executive positions throughout their career. Sungwon began working at SK Telecom and SK Group HQ in 2002, where they served as Vice President to Executive Vice President in various roles until 2013. Sungwon then joined SK Telink in 2014 as CEO for a brief period before transitioning to SK planet in 2015 as COO. In 2017, they became the CEO of SK planet, overseeing various successful ventures such as 11th Street, OK Cashbag, Syrup Wallet, and global e-commerce and marketing platform businesses. Prior to their time at SK Telecom, Sungwon Suh worked at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Principal from 1995 to 2001.
Sungwon Suh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Yonsei University between the years 1983 and 1987. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1988 to 1990, specializing in the field of Business.
