Sten Mogard

Sten Mogard has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Sten is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Skawen, where they oversee the progress of ongoing projects and meets with departments, shareholders, investors, and customers. Prior to Skawen, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Mogard Business Management AB, providing interim management and change management services. Sten also worked as an Interim Business Development Manager at Hanley Energy Ltd, assisting with business development in the Nordics and setting up a Swedish entity. Additionally, they served as an Interim Managing Director at Tempeff AB, overseeing the development and production of energy recovery systems. Sten also worked at Enterprise Ireland as an Interim Senior Market Advisor, providing market advice and support. Sten has experience in setting up daughter companies and greenfielding projects, having worked as an Interim Business Development Manager at Inwido AB and as a Management Consultant at Reval Konsult AB. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at LEAB Eesti AS, Stoneridge, Inc., and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Sten Mogard began their education at Gångsätra, although specific details regarding the time frame and area of study are not provided. In 1982 and 1983, Sten attended Arnold School, where they obtained their A-level in Science. Continuing their education, Sten attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1991, completing their Master of Science degree in Mechanics/Mechatronics. As part of their educational journey, Sten had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at TUM - Technische Uni München in 1988 and 1989, focusing on Mechanics. In 1995, Sten pursued further executive education at IFL - Executive Education in the field of General Management. Another short-term educational experience occurred in 2011 when Sten engaged with the Swedish Project Association to undertake studies in IPMA-D. Finally, in 2017, Sten participated in the Board Academy program offered by StyrelseAkademien, specializing in Board Governance.
