Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in workforce initiatives and policy administration. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Skills Inc. since June 2015, Melanie has previously held roles such as Human Resources Manager and Business Partner, focusing on recruiting and company policy implementation. Prior experience includes positions at Swedish Medical Center as an Associate Recruiter and at Providence Health & Services as an Absence & Disability Management Consultant, where Melanie managed complex leave and disability issues. Earlier career roles include Benefits Analyst at True Blue Inc. and human resources coaching at the City of Houston. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Houston-Downtown.
