Amanda O'Brien-Carlson

Amanda O'Brien-Carlson is an accomplished freelance editorial specialist with over two decades of experience in writing, editing, and proofreading, specializing in healthcare, educational publishing, and arts and leisure magazines. O'Brien-Carlson has been a dedicated children's librarian at Skokie Public Library since 1999, where the library received the National Medal for Museum and Library Service, recognizing its innovative and resourceful contributions to the community. Previously, O'Brien-Carlson served as a reader's advisory and circulation clerk at Glencoe Public Library and worked as an assistant/associate editor at IHS Publishing Group.
