Chris Annear is the Group Head of Security at Sky since March 2021, where responsibilities include developing security strategy and overseeing delivery across various business sectors. Prior to this role, Chris served as Senior Risk Manager at Cardtronics, managing operational risk and crisis management within the financial sector, and played a significant role in government and industry working groups. Previous experience includes Director of Operations at Anvil Group, where Chris developed operational risk management strategies for blue-chip companies, and Head of Crisis Response at Drum Cussac, leading a crisis management team for clients in high-risk environments. Chris began a career in the British Army as a Commissioned Officer, focusing on close protection and infantry operations worldwide. Chris holds a Master of Science in Organisational Resilience from Buckinghamshire New University.
