Shaun Austin is a seasoned Senior Test Automation Engineer at Sky since May 2017, where responsibilities include supporting the implementation of a new Automation Strategy for Digital Service and mentoring emerging Automation Engineers. Prior to this role, Shaun served as a Test Engineer, developing and maintaining automated scripts using Cucumber and Java. Previous experience includes working as a Business Test Analyst at FDM Group, conducting manual testing for RBS, and an extensive career in the Royal Navy, where Shaun held the position of Leading Engineering Technician Weapons Engineer Submariner, managing internal communications for nuclear submarines and achieving qualification as a Vanguard Class Submariner after a rigorous training and examination process.
