Luís Verbakel's work experience begins with their current role as a Captain at Homedeal, where they are dedicated to creating better living spaces and helping tradesmen and homeowners with their home projects. Prior to this, they co-founded SkyDreams in 2002 and served as the CEO, overseeing the publication of online marketplaces. SkyDreams was recognized as one of the fastest-growing Dutch scale-up companies and appeared on several industry rankings. Luís also worked as a Researcher at Rabobank International in 2009.
Luís Verbakel obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from Utrecht University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Arts in Strategic Human Resource Management at the same university, graduating in 2009.
