Ching Liang Ooi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design verification and engineering management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at SkyeChip since May 2020, Ooi oversees the Logic and Design Verification team for IP and ASIC projects. Previously held the role of Design Verification Manager at UST Global, managing teams for full-chip SoC verification and in-house Verification IP development. Ooi's career includes a significant tenure at BaySand Inc as Senior MTS Design Engineer, focusing on RTL logic design for various IPs, and experience at Intel Corporation and Spansion in component design and system-level testing. Ooi began the journey in engineering education with a degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
