Marco Helmich

Marco Helmich has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Marco most recently worked at Skyflow as a Software Engineer, starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Newfront Insurance from October 2019 to April 2020, where they were involved in various tasks including writing functional React components and developing GraphQL APIs. From November 2017 to October 2019, Marco worked at Salesforce as a Software Engineer, focusing on building a globally distributed data store. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Lending Club from July 2016 to November 2017, responsible for building a bullet-proof document storage system. Marco also gained experience at AppDynamics as a Software Engineer from July 2015 to July 2016, where they worked on building microservices to derive insights from large amounts of data. Marco started their career at Salesforce.com as a Software Engineer from July 2011 to June 2015, where they developed infrastructure components and worked on the asynchronous processing framework. Marco Helmich completed their Bachelor's degree in Software Systems Engineering at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute from 2003 to 2008. Marco then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same institute from 2007 to 2009.
