Chad Bickel has six years of experience in guidance, navigation, and control engineering. In 2022, they began working as a GN&C Engineer at Skyryse, where they are developing FlightOS, the world's first universal flight deck and operating system. In 2020, they moved to Opto-Knowledge Systems, Inc. as a Senior GN&C Engineer. From 2017 to 2016, they worked at Northrop Grumman as a GN&C Engineer and Technical Intern, respectively. In 2015, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Grader at California Polytechnic State University, and also worked as an Embedded Systems Engineering Consultant for an entrepreneur.
Chad Bickel completed a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2015. Chad then went on to complete a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2017.
