Mario Brenes has held several positions in the software engineering and data QA fields. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for Skyryse, where they are developing FlightOS, the world's first universal flight deck and operating system. From 2018-2022, they were employed as a Software Engineer at Moog Inc. In 2018, they also took on a role as a Data QA Engineer Intern at IT Vizion, where they developed software for testing a Key Performance Indicator monitoring system and used technologies such as Python, Microsoft SQL server, web APIs, and proprietary industrial data storage and analysis systems. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Research Fellow at UC Irvine, where they collaborated with Professor John Lowengrub to develop a mathematical model of cell lineages and performed stability analysis to study tumor cell population dynamics using the programming languages Mathematica and Matlab.
Mario Brenes received a Bachelor's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from UC Irvine between 2014 and 2017.
