Dave Munroe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they serve as the VP of Finance & Administration at SKYTRAC, a global leader in satellite communication hardware. Prior to this, Dave was a music professional, working as a tuba player for the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. Dave also held the position of Director of Finance at National Seating & Mobility Canada, overseeing financial functions across multiple provinces. Dave has a strong background in finance, having served as the Director of Finance at BCAA, where they provided financial oversight and analysis for the organization. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Associate at PwC, leading audit engagements for multinational companies in the aviation industry. Additionally, Dave gained experience in the landscaping and hospitality industries, working at University Landscapers and Whistler Blackcomb as an irrigation specialist and ski instructor, respectively.
Dave Munroe received their HBA in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2008 to 2010. In 2019 and 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced Leadership from the UBC Sauder School of Business. In 2010, Dave pursued an international exchange program at the Louvain School of Management, where they earned an MSc in Management. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained the CPA, CA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
