Malachi Nordine has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Malachi began their career in 1991 as an Aerospace Engineering Officer with the Canadian Forces. In 1997, they transitioned to work as a Software Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, where they stayed until 2001. Nordine then joined Novellus Systems as a Software Engineering Manager & Staff Engineer until 2005. Malachi subsequently worked at Honeywell Aerospace again, this time as a Technical Manager from 2005 to 2007. Their most recent role was at SkyTrac Systems Ltd., where they served as the Director of Product Development from 2007 to 2012 before becoming the President.

Malachi Nordine completed their education with a B.Sc degree in Computer Science and Physics from Royal Roads Military College between the years 1991 and 1995. Malachi then attended the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Engineering from 1995-1996 in the field of Aerospace Engineering. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Engineering Systems (Software) from Arizona State University, completing it from 2005 to 2009. In 2011, they obtained certification as a Professional Engineer (PENG) from APEG BC.
