Amber Nelson

Amber Nelson, MBA, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Operations and Finance at SkyTruth, having transitioned from a managerial role in the same department. Since November 2009, Amber has been with Recycle Utah as an Accountant, where responsibilities include bookkeeping, financial reporting, and staff recruitment support. Previous experience includes HR & Operations Manager at Compassion in World Farming (USA), and Vice President of Finance and Operations at Summit Land Conservancy, where Amber oversaw office systems and donor management. Early career roles featured accounting work at Nelson & Hanson Accounting, coordinator at Uinta Headwaters RC&D, and assistant case coordinator at Clark Consulting. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Grand Canyon University.
