Rafael Fernandes has extensive work experience in software engineering, with a focus on team leadership and project management. Rafael started their career as a Software Engineer at Others in 1999, where they gained experience in web and Windows development as well as customer relations and account management. Rafael then worked at Web Software as a System Analyst from 2007 to 2008. Rafael joined TO Brasil in 2009 and 2010 as a Software Engineer, working on projects for the cinema industry and the largest corporation in Latin America within the petroleum industry. From 2009 to 2010, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Embrada, creating customized client websites for the real estate sector. Rafael then worked at Morneau Shepell from 2013 to 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer, utilizing .Net and AngularJS technologies. Since 2015, Rafael has been with Slalom Build, initially as an Architect and later as a Principal in Software Engineering. Rafael leads and grows teams, builds partner trust, and drives the development of web-based software applications.

Rafael also has additional certifications in MCPD Web Developer 4, MCPD Windows Developer 4, MCTS Data Access, MCTS Service Communication Applications, MCTS Web Applications, and MCTS Windows Applications.
