Sithira Wanniarachchi currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security Governance & Compliance at Dialog Axiata PLC and is actively involved with SLASSCOM as the Chair of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence. With a solid foundation in cybersecurity and IT governance, Sithira has held various influential positions, including Mentor and Advisory Group Committee Member at ISACA, and was the Founder & Chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Previous experiences include heading Network Infrastructure, Security & Compliance at ITX360 and working as a Senior Network Engineer at Expolanka Holdings PLC. Sithira possesses a Master's degree in Security Science from EC-Council University, along with multiple certifications related to Business Continuity Management and cybersecurity. With a commitment to establishing Sri Lanka as a cyber security hub, Sithira contributes significantly to the development and mentoring of professionals in the IT sector.

SLASSCOM acts as the catalyst of growth for the Sri Lankan IT and BPO industry by facilitating trade and business, propagation of education and employment, encouragement of research and innovation, and by supporting the creation of a progressive national policy framework.
