Yuetong (Ruby) Yang is a Cloud Software Engineer at Schlumberger since July 2021, where responsibilities include developing applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, integrating third-party tools, and ensuring software security. Previously, Ruby worked as a Software Engineer at CryptoEQ, focusing on a recommendation system that utilized APIs for data collection and applied natural language processing for sentiment analysis. Ruby's earlier experience includes web development at Townsend Solutions, where a database-driven website was created, and data research at Energy Transfer, which involved predictive modeling and feature extraction techniques. Ruby holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Southwest University of Political Science and Law.
