Heather Anderson has extensive experience in business development, program management, and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Director for both Resilience & Security and Major Projects at the University of Strathclyde since June 2016, Heather provides strategic support and project management for major initiatives. Additional roles include board membership at South Lanarkshire College and the ADS Scotland Council. Prior to these positions, Heather was a Programme Manager at Selex ES from 2003 to 2016, overseeing significant projects in radar technology and countermeasures. Heather holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, and various project management qualifications, reflecting a strong academic foundation in both management and technical disciplines.

We’ve been an important part of the South Lanarkshire community for more than 75 years. We were founded in 1948 in Cambuslang. We moved to our state-of-the-art purpose-built campus in the Technology Park in East Kilbride in 2008.
