Gio Pellizzoni is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in creating innovative software solutions and data-driven applications across various industries. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Sleep Doctor since May 2022, Gio leads the development of a product recommendation algorithm utilizing data analytics and Gen AI technology, while also creating custom internal software to enhance operational efficiency. As a Staff Software Engineer at Upstart 13, Gio spearheads the development of a multi-tenant SaaS platform, implementing AWS infrastructure and data pipelines. Previous roles include software engineering positions at Jout, Education Strategy Consulting, and Ditech, where Gio contributed to the development of web applications and a core business application in the fintech sector. As Co-Founder and CTO of Zaply, Gio managed an engineering team and developed high-performing ETL solutions. Gio holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Unisinos.
