Dermot Hall has a diverse work experience in graphic and web design. Dermot began their career at Inspiration Marketing Consultancy in 2004, where they managed multiple accounts and created corporate identity systems for various companies. In 2005, they joined JoyDesign as a Senior Graphic Designer, taking on responsibilities such as brainstorming, design implementation, and print management. Dermot then moved to Direct Brands, Inc. in 2008, collaborating with copywriters to create online marketing assets. Dermot joined Seamless/Grubhub in 2012 as a Senior Designer and later became Associate Creative Director, overseeing a team of four designers and ensuring campaign success through creative direction and efficient processes. In 2016, they worked as a Designer at Nickelodeon before joining About.com as a Senior Designer. Currently, Dermot is the Senior Art Director at Slice, where they are dedicated to helping independent pizzerias compete with large chains by providing online ordering technology and customized marketing materials.
Dermot Hall's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Letterkenny Institute of Technology. Dermot also has completed a City & Guilds program in Advanced Web Page Design with Merit, as well as a CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) program with Merit, focusing on web design, coding, and eCommerce. Additionally, Dermot has obtained certifications in Advanced Web Page Design from City & Guilds, a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Letterkenny Institute of Technology, a Certificate of Social Media Marketing from SO ME Academy, and certification as a Certified Internet Webmaster from CIWcertified.
