Abigail Reid

Abigail Reid began their career in 2019 as an Instructional Aide at the University of Michigan. In this role, they helped teach courses such as Introduction to Biomedical Engineering Design, Quantitative Physiology, and Biophysical Chemistry and Thermodynamics. Through this role, they learned how to better explain difficult concepts to others and gained a greater understanding of human physiology, the engineering design process, and problem-solving. Abigail also served as a Research Intern at the University of Michigan. In 2020, they began working as an OptiVent Lead Engineer at Sling Health.

Abigail Reid attended the University of Michigan from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a field of study in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
