Colin Watson

Colin Watson is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of Technology (Infrastructure and Platforms) at Slough Borough Council since January 2023. Prior to this, Colin held the position of Head of IT Live Services Manager at De La Rue, where significant projects included a successful migration to a Dell VX-Rail system. Colin's earlier experience includes roles such as Infrastructure Manager at the University of Oxford's Department of Engineering Science, Service Delivery Manager at Elsevier, and Managing Director of StarQ, a start-up focused on IT solutions. Additionally, Colin has held interim and implementation management positions at Green Templeton College and Oxford University Press, respectively, along with a diverse background in IT system support and analysis across various companies.
