Billie Lopez is a seasoned professional in lease analysis with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Lease Analyst at SM Energy Company since February 2024, Billie has previously held significant roles at Diamondback Energy, including Lease Admin Supervisor and Land Administration Supervisor. Billie’s career began in 1997 at Petra Oleum Corp as a Secretary/Lease Analyst and progressed through various positions, including Senior Staff Lease Analyst at Concho and Lease Analyst IV at Energen Resources Corporation, where responsibilities included managing oil and gas leases and training new analysts. After retiring from Diamondback Energy in April 2023, Billie continues to contribute expertise to the field.
