Brian Killpack

Brian Killpack is a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior E&P Accountant at SM Energy Company since June 2021, Brian previously held the position of Accounting Manager at Crimson Pipeline Lp from April 2016 to April 2021, where responsibilities included managing the month-end close process and mentoring staff accountants. Prior experience includes working as a JIB Accountant II at Whiting Petroleum Corporation, focusing on joint interest billing and financial accuracy. Brian began a career in accounting with an Internal Audit Internship at Envision Healthcare and a role as a Family Law Paralegal at Kumpf Charsley & Hansen. Brian holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
