Joel Mazza

Joel Mazza, P.E. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Completions Design Engineer at SM Energy Company since December 2024. As a Co-Founder of Seedlings LLC, Joel is innovating the childcare sector by offering premium in-home alternatives to traditional daycare. Previous roles include Manager of Project Management and Regional Sales and Completions Engineer at ESG Solutions, where expertise in diagnostics for induced seismicity and hydraulic fracture design was utilized. As Engineering Manager at Fracture ID, Joel led a team focusing on reservoir and completion engineering, optimizing drilling analyses and treatment strategies. Earlier positions encompassed advisory and engineering roles at Integrated Petroleum Technologies and Halliburton. Joel earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Northern Colorado.
