Mike Malone is the founder and CEO of Smallstep. Mike has a background in web development and was previously the CTO of Betable, an engineer at Urban Airship, and the lead architect at SimpleGeo, Inc. Mike has also worked as a software engineer at Six Apart, Ltd., a web developer at Pownce, and an analyst at Accenture. In 2006, they founded Stealth Wine Co., where they served as the company's CTO. Mike has also worked as a consultant for Digital Deck and as a computer technician and systems administrator for the United States Naval Academy.
