Helene Berchmans

Helene Berchmans is a seasoned transformation manager with extensive experience in portfolio and program management, particularly within the care organization sector. Currently employed at Smals since September 2020, Berchmans has previously held significant roles at Familiehulp vzw, where innovative digitization projects were directed, and at AXA, managing quality and compliance in ICT processes and leading transformations to Scaled Lean-Agile methodologies. With a background in software development project management and international project coordination for the Cunina ngo, Berchmans also brings a wealth of experience from EDS, where assignments included business analysis and architecture for prominent financial institutions. Berchmans holds two master's degrees, one in Handelsingenieur Beleidsinformatica from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and another in Marketing and Economic Sciences from Université de Mons-Hainaut.
